World's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Throw away ALL of your chocolate chip cookie recipes that claim that they are THE best. A chocolate chip cookie recipe is one that should be fairly simple and fairly similar to others, however, after trying this recipe I beg to differ. I have never seen so many people go crazy over a cookie, like I did when I have made these cookies, now for the fifth time... haha. These really are the world's best chocolate chip cookies, these should be a MUST in everyone's recipe book. If you can't tell from the ingredients why not, you should whip up a batch and test it for yourself, you will not be let down, I promise you that. Now onto the recipe:

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips I am not a fan of butterscotch chips at all, but this is a must in this case!
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts Again, not a fan of walnuts, but another must if you want it to really be the best chocolate chip recipe in THE world
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt.

Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.

Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
Enjoy!
